Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Full-time · San Diego, CA · Residential
The LVN provides direct nursing care and supervision to residents in a licensed adult residential facility, working within the scope of the California Board of Vocational Nursing requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope of practice
- Monitor and document changes in individual condition
- Provide supervision, care, and training to individual
- Respond to medical and behavioral emergencies
- Support residents with activities of daily living
Minimum qualifications:
- Current valid California LVN license
- Minimum 18 years of age with valid photo ID
- Completion of a state-approved vocational nursing program
- Knowledge of CA LVN scope of practice
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Full-time · San Diego, CA · Residential
The DSP provides individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities in a licensed residential setting, promoting dignity, autonomy, and community inclusion in daily life.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, training, and supervision per each resident's IPP
- Support Individual with daily living activities and community experiences
- Observe and document resident conditions and behaviors
- Implement behavioral supports and emergency intervention plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and home-like environment
Minimum qualifications:
- 12 months experience in developmental disabilities or completion of RSS1 & RSS2
- Fingerprint and TB clearance prior to hire
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- First Aid and CPR certification prior to direct care
- Legal right to work in the United States
